About Thimphu City FC
Thimphu City FC competes in the Bhutan Premier League, the highest league in Bhutanese football. They won the league title in both 2016 and 2020, and have never finished below 3rd place. Their stadium - Changlimithang Stadium - is widely recognized as one of the most beautiful places to watch football in the world.
Their 2023 third shirt uses a pattern inspired by the Druk, otherwise known as the 'Thunder Dragon' from Bhutanese mythology that appears on the flag of Bhutan.
